Look, I'm going to be honest. Is it the biggest place in Falls Creek? No Is it the fanciest? No Is it the newest? No But is it the cosiest? Yes Does it have the best food? Yes Does it have the nicest staff and owners? Yes Would I stay anywhere else? No. Not in a million years

Feathertop was described to us as one of the older places in Falls Creek. We stayed there because the price was right. The new owners took over in 2017 and are steadily renovating the place. Our room was small but it worked for us but you don’t measure Feathertop by the size of the room. The ambience was fantastic and it starts with the staff. Everybody introduced themselves to us and by the end of our stay we knew them all. The evening restaurant was excellent - worth going to even if you’re not staying there. They had live music from Warde Elliott on one night we were there. The included breakfast was standard fare. A number of families were staying there when we were there and it seemed to work well for them. They have a separate tv room to which the kids retire after dinner. Thanks to Dani, Steve, Ali, Edwin and Maddy for making our stay so enjoyable.

Feathertop has exceptional service, excellent cocktails and superb tapas. This is accompanied by a lovely open fireplace - mandatory apres ski requirement. Atmosphere very chic. A must if staying on the mountain.

Excellent small lodge where the owners and staff go all out to make you welcome and comfortable. The restaurant menu is unbelievable with tables set around a cosy fire. Will definitely be back again and again

Food was incredible and the bar and restaurant staff were all so friendly and attentive. The rooms were small but comfortable and the shared lounge areas had everything you needed. We felt welcome and really enjoyed our weekend. Would highly recommend Feathertop Lodge and will happily return in the future.

My partner and I stayed for our joint birthday’s and we loved every moment of our time there. We had a lovely time at the lodge, walking around the village as well as on the slopes. From the moment we arrived all the staff knew and remembered our names. They made time to chat to us and were all very friendly, welcoming and genuine. This is a cute, well run family business and they do a great job. The location is just perfect. The food was truly amazing and the bar-man’s skills were infallible. Danielle and Steve were lovely hosts and really made us feel at home and like we were amongst old friends. The best things to have when you are away from home is a safe and comfortable environment, and genuine happy connections with people and this place provided all of that! Highly Recommended!
